In response to the need for strategic and transformative leadership in the global era, the State Administration Institute (LAN) organized an intensive training titled Reformers Academy in Jakarta, (9-11/12). Taking place over three days, the program is designed to equip State Civil Apparatus (ASN) with mission-based leadership skills, impact measurement, and systemic solution design.
Presenting speakers with in-depth expertise, Reformers Academy opened the training with “Purpose-Driven Leadership – Self Leadership & Leading Others,” presented by Ivan Ahda, CEO of Maxima Impact Consulting. As a practitioner with experience in organizational transformation, Ivan guided participants in aligning their personal goals with the organization’s vision, instilling the concept of strong mission-based leadership, and encouraging participants to learn the ability to lead teams with a purpose-driven approach.
On the second day, Salman Noersiwan, a strategic communication expert with experience in international organizations such as UNDP and WHO, delivered “Measuring Impact Project Initiatives.” This session guided participants to use data to measure the overall success of their projects, providing insights into measurable and results-oriented impact measurement techniques. Salman also led the session “Writing an Impact Report,” which provided guidance on drafting an effective impact report to support strategic decision-making.
The final day of the training was led by Dr. (cand). Sahala Harahap, an expert in systemic approaches and organizational change. In the session “Thinking Transformation as a System,” participants were invited to understand the analysis of relationships between components in the system to design innovative solutions to complex challenges. The next session was led by Dr. Stien Matakupan, a senior public policy consultant who reviewed “How to Create Policy Brief.” This session provided practical steps to develop persuasive and research-based policy recommendations, supporting the implementation of relevant solutions.
As a key partner, Maxima Impact Consulting played an important role in making the program a success. With its data-driven approach and extensive experience in organizational transformation, Maxima is committed to helping participants create impactful initiatives. This program proves the importance of cross-sector collaboration in bringing effective learning solutions to ASN.
“This program not only builds technical skills, but also supports mindset transformation to create reflective and impactful leaders,” said Ivan Ahda. With the strong synergy between LAN and Maxima Impact Consulting, Reformers Academy is a model of inclusive learning for future leaders.
