PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMMAN) has once again launched the AMMAN Excellent Vocational Scholarship program for junior high school graduates and/or equivalent from West Sumbawa Regency (KSB) and Sumbawa Regency (KS). This program aims to prepare a competent young generation that is ready to compete in the future industrial world.
As a form of AMMAN’s investment in preparing a competent young generation, Maxima Impact Consulting strategically designed the selection stages of AMMAN scholarship recipients to create a superior and competitive young generation in KSB and KS through the development of human resources equipped with specific skills.
“We are improvising the implementation of the AMMAN Scholars program that has been going on for 3 years, and now AMMAN wants to further ensure that the selected AMMAN Scholars have the ability of self awareness, resilience, and employability,” explained Khoirunnisa, Project Manager of AMMAN Scholars 2025 Selection.
AMMAN’s SMK Unggulan Scholarship Program is a transformation platform that focuses on empowering scholarship recipients. Not only limited to providing scholarship fees, AMMAN is now committed to expanding positive impact through the AMMAN Scholars Leadership Camp (ASLC), a one-year training program that focuses on improving the capacity of beneficiaries.
Wildan Ramadhani, Specialist of Human Capital Development at AMMAN explained the more strategic design of the AMMAN Featured Vocational Scholarship Program. “It is intended to give AMMAN Scholars a new experience of the wider world. Those who live in KSB and KS, hopefully can explore the world by increasing their capacity through the AMMAN Scholars Leadership Camp designed by Maxima.”
Ahead of the opening of the AMMAN Superior Vocational Scholarship Program Batch 4, the enthusiasm of the community from both West Sumbawa Regency and Sumbawa Regency is increasing. This has resulted in a high number of applicants and intense competition.
“In this scholarship selection, we want to explore how to produce individuals who are truly capable of competing in the wider world. This condition has implications for a structured and measurable training process that encourages the provision of scholarships not only limited to graduating them, but providing strategic self-capacity for students in facing global challenges,” said Wildan.
The selection process of this program is very interesting because it involves various rigorous stages, ranging from administration, Academic Potential Test (TPA), interviews, to medical tests. One of the interesting things about this selection process is that all participants show their best efforts. Khoirunnisa explained “This process is very important to ensure we get students who are not only academically smart but also resilient and eager to learn and develop,” she said.
The program was attended by 500 applicants from two regions, KSB and KS. With diverse family backgrounds, ranging from children of farmers, entrepreneurs, to civil servants, the selected scholarship recipients will be prepared to study at five of the best vocational schools in Java, including SMK NU Ma’arif Kudus, SMK NU Banat Kudus, SMK Raden Umar Said (RUS) Kudus, SMK PGRI 1 Kudus, and SMK Brantas Karangkates Malang.
Khoirunnisa hopes that “The innovations present at the selection stage of the AMMAN Featured Vocational Scholarship Program Batch 4 show AMMAN’s seriousness in evaluating and seeking meaningful programs. We also hope that this program can serve as a model for other scholarship programs in creating significant positive impact.”
Through this program, AMMAN demonstrates its commitment in building quality human resources. With a preventive and strategic approach, AMMAN seeks to create meaningful positive impact and create positive impact for its beneficiaries.
